There are pronounced mocha/chocolate tones on the nose and palate. Thokozani means "to celebrate"! If they carry on creating wines like these, they´ll have much to celebrate....

Förmlich eine "Explosion" am Gaumen, dieser "kleine" Pinotage von Diemersfontein. Die Weine aus diesem Hause machen einfach viel Freude. Im Glas ein Purpurrot. In der Nase ein ausladendes Aroma von Moccha, schwarzer Schokolade und gerösteten Kastanien. Am Gaumen noch zusätzlich Töne von reifen Bananen und Brombeeren. Die Aromen erinnern leicht an gebackene Banane. Auch schwarze Johannisbeere kann man rausschmecken. Auf Grund der feinen Tannine kann dieser Wein schon jung getrunken werden, auch wenn er noch von einigen Jahren Flaschenlagerung profitieren wird. Der Abgang hallt sehr fein nach und hinterläst einen Eindruck von super reifen, roten Beeren....
