The 2006 vintage is a beautifully expressive wine, showing excellent Viognier character. Whole bunch pressing retains freshness in the wine, which balances well with the complex fruit, and subtle oaking. Colour: Vibrant golden hue with greenish tinge Aroma: Classic Viognier nose, showing apricots and stone fruit. Mineral notes mingle with subtle hints of vanilla spice. Palate: Rich complex palate, with good depth of fruit following through from the nose. Cellaring: Drinking at its best now through to the end of 2007. Another great wine from Charles Back!...
